Let the basketball games begin.......

The basketball season has begun at Logen's school: Meridian Middle School. Logen is on the team and his first game against another middle school in our district is in two weeks. His position on the Meridian Middle School Chiefs is guard.

I am not sure if he wants me to share the fact that he was EXTREMELY sore after the first practice on Monday. It is now Wednesday and he is feeling a lot better!

Not sure if everyone knows but Logen is our sports nut. Ask him stats, player or team questions when it comes to the NFL or our local college football team and he knows the answer. If Dennis and Logen are debating on an answer, I will side with Logen, he knows his stuff! Logen says that he would love to be a sports analyst when he grows up.

Not only is Logen interested in sports he has a hobby that he has been involved in for a year now....Sport Stacking......see it is also a "sport". The best way to describe it, as stated by Wikipedia is: "Participants of sport stacking stack cups in predetermined sequences, competing against the clock or another player. Sequences are usually pyramids of three, six, or ten cups. Proponents of the sport say participants learn teamwork, cooperation, ambidexterity and hand-eye coordination."
