I have faced reality: Tyler is not going to have children, he is going to keep having guitars instead. Who would have thought, after being born to a mother that is "tone deaf", (Oh, its true, just ask anyone who has heard me sing) that he would be such a musician.
This "baby" is an Ibanez Acoustic/Electric. His newest addition is made out of walnut, has a built in tuner, 22 frets and he is madly in love with it. This guitar joins her siblings: (2) Ibanez electrics, Fender electric, Epiphone electric, Dean acoustic and Gretsch acoustic. What a great family!
Its amazing that Tyler taught himself to play guitar. He has taken an occasional lesson but mostly he did all the work with much practice.
Have I told you lately how proud I am of the man he has turned out to be??.....we are blessed!
I am also very proud of my nephew Tyler and as I may not have had anything to do with him becoming the successful man he is today. I would like to take a little credit for Tyler being the musician that he is! I think had I not taught him the opening riff to La Bamba, he might have never considered picking up the guitar! LOL...
