Our garden seemed to boom and bloom while we were out of town for the 4th of July holiday.

I have got a zucchini big enough to pick and have with dinner this weekend. There are several green tomatoes. The squash and cucumbers have tons of blooms but not a sign of the actual vegetable there yet.
Next year we decided we will pull out the "snow in summer" plant because it only blooms and looks pretty for a very short time. Doing that will free up some space for additional planting. I know I want to do green beans along the fence area next year but I would appreciate any other easy planting ideas.
