Its all about the G-MAN !!

Colin has had a fascination with Gingerbread man cookies lately....which he calls G-MAN!! I think his interst came about because he saw a gingerbread man on a kids show that he watched. Then when we went to Home Depot he saw a display for gingerbread man air freshener that he really wanted me to buy..but I didn't.

I decided that we should probably make G-man cookies together. Well since I did not have the cookie cutter we had to go buy one. Not an easy feat in the month of August. Apparently that cookie cutter comes out with the Christmas stuff....so for once I was anxious to see Christmas supplies....nope, could not find one. I decided that I could use the teddy bear cookie cutter and just mold the ears off and it would be pretty close to a g-man.

So there we were Sunday morning: me, Colin and Betty....Betty Crocker that is.....thanks for your gingerbread mix Betty!

I wasn't even sure if he would like the taste of gingerbread because it has such a distinct flavor. Well, he loved the cookies; he did not even want to wait to put the gumdrop buttons on! :)

Colin enjoyed himself and was a very good boy while we were baking....I think I may need to find him a boy style apron next time though!
