I do not think I could handle the way the quote really goes--no April showers PLEASE. I have had enough! It has been rainy, windy and cold for the past several days. This is what the Boise forecast looks like for the next seven days. I sure hope the weatherman is right....I need some nice weather NOW! :)
Looks pretty much like the same kind of weather we had. Even when sunny there was a cold wind so it never quite felt warm. Your Aunt Connie will always ask what the weather is like when she calls. While I am happy when it is in the 50's she says "Oh my gosh" and then goes on to tell me what the temp is or that it will be in the 80's. Today, 4/28 is going to get up to the 80's or darn close. I am just about finished with the computer and I am going to head out to the garden. My peas are coming up and I have lettuce and spinach in the cold frames. But now it is time to get the rest of the garden weeded and ready for carrots, beets, chard, etc. Also have to start planning to get a few tomato and pepper seeds going. Don't do then any earlier than now because I find a month is enough time for them. Any earlier and they just get leggy and don't really get much of a head start that way. Okay, off to the garden. ReplyDeleteToday it was nice enough to get outside a bit. I have been sick so I was grateful and very surprised that Dennis and our worker spent some time weeding my flower/garden bed in the back yard today! YEAH!
