Every month Colin’s preschool class goes on a field trip. They ride what Colin calls “The BIG Yellow Bus” to and from the field trip destination.
In October, Colin’s field trip was to the pumpkin patch. He enjoyed hunting for the perfect pumpkin, running around a hay bale maze and a petting zoo.
In November, Colin’s class went on a tour of the local Walmart store. They took the kids behind the scenes of the store, let them decorate a cupcake in the bakery and then served cookies and chocolate milk for their snack. I, unfortunately, forgot my camera so I did not get any pictures.
This month the class went to the Home Depot. The class got a tour of the store. Then they were able to make a birdhouse. They got the official orange Home Depot apron and went to work to put together the birdhouse. Everything was precut, so with help, the kids hammered nails and screwed screws and ended up with a pretty nice looking birdhouse. I, again, forgot the camera. :( So Colin had to pose when he got home. How cute is this. 
Colin looks very proud of himself, doesn’t he??
