It is time once again to give the teachers a little gift so they know how much we appreciate them.
Logen is now in high school and has many teachers so we are not doing anything for them this year except expressing our gratitude and appreciation for all they do when we see them.
Colin on the other hand is in one classroom and it is more age appropriate to make a gift, with Colin’s help, to give to his teachers. Colin has a main teacher, three teacher's aides. He also has three different therapists (occupational, physical and speech) that work with him on a weekly basis.
I went to the craft store and bought miniature buckets. Colin and I decorated them with ribbon, a few Christmas stickers and filled them with candy and gave them to his therapists.
For his teachers we made some really cute ornaments. Clear glass ornaments, “snow”, snowman stickers and some ribbon.
Colin was very excited to bring the gifts that he made to his teachers.
We also put together a plate of goodies for his bus aide and bus driver, that drives Colin home, everyday, safely. They both have great personalities and are so good to Colin. Colin refers to both of them as “Grandma” and they do not mind……
We are all so blessed that Colin has such wonderful teachers and therapists. He has really excelled at school. It is so wonderful to see how much he has grown and learned. He really enjoys school.
With Love,
~Tina
