He was in a great mood this morning--like he usually is. But he knew something was up when that lady (aka nurse) came out in those doctor looking clothes--then asked him to change from his nice comfy pajamas into a not-so-cute hospital gown. He took his "sleepy time" medicine with just a little resistance. When the medicine started to make him feel groggy the anesthesiologist and nurses took him away on the stretcher to get an IV started and be put to sleep for the procedure.
We waited for what seemed like FOREVER (45 minutes) then the doctor came out to talk to us and said everything went well.
They let us all in recovery a short time later where we were greeted with a VERY upset Colin. I do not think he liked the way he felt coming out of the anesthesia. I don't think he knew what was going on. He cried all the way home, but settled in pretty good after we got home. He does seem to be in pain off and on but the pain medicine has helped with that.
Here is a picture of him laying on his nap mat. Our dog (Chloe) and cat (Molly) must have known he wasn't feeling well because they kept a watchful eye on him when he got home.
