Music Extravaganza

Tyler made it home safely last night from his six day vacation at the four day music extravaganza called Bonnaroo.

Tyler kept me updated on everything (well, probably not EVERYTHING) while he was there. He called me everyday to let me know he was okay and having a great time. He had a lot of stories to share with me and I am sure there are plenty more to tell. I have asked Tyler to put together his thoughts and memories of his trip to post on my blog. So hopefully he will find time to do that for me. (*no pressure Tyler, I know that you are busy)

The drive over to Manchester from Chattanooga was a four-hour stop and go traffic jam. They expected it so it wasn't too bad. They got there early enough that his campsite was less than a 15 minute walk to the center of Bonnaroo and the bathrooms were only a five minute walk. This is an aerial view of the 700 acre venue:

Tyler saw some great bands and had a great time. He said if he would go again he would definitely rather that Heather went with him. He was one of the lucky ones that spun a wheel and won an opportunity to be put in a drawing to win free tickets to next years event. Good luck Tyler!

His flight was delayed about an hour last night, so I am sure he was very excited to see this city scape while landing at home last night.
