....for another gig for Tyler and the guys in the band, Nothing with Numbers! Tonight they are playing at Double Down Saloon in Las Vegas.
I have to share what the band did for Tyler a few weeks ago. They were all out at a club together to help friends set up for a show. They asked Tyler to come outside and help carry some things into the club. When Tyler went outside the guys had a couple gifts for him. They gave him a new cord for his bass (he had needed a longer one for awhile) and a new pair of headphones. (Headphones to a recording engineer are in comparison to a scalpel to a plastic surgeon....very important, very technical and not cheap.) The band really appreciates all the recording and music talent that Tyler has brought to the band. I just thought that was so nice that his peers would recognize and do something so nice for him. It was so unexpected! I am anxious to meet them, they really seem like a stand out bunch of guys! That is one thing as a parent I have worried about since he moved away and went to college and then moved away to start his career...what kind of people he would meet as friends. I have to say Tyler has done a great job on his own--he is very fortunate to surround himself with such nice people.
