Garage Sale

Be very careful opening our garage door......just kidding...its not that bad...but close! The yard sale did not happen this past Saturday. It was a crazy/busy week and when Dennis and I went out to the garage to start organizing and pricing stuff we realized that there was NO way we would be ready for a sale on Saturday. So as you can imagine, I am still not able to park in the garage! I cannot believe how much stuff I have to sell! Yesterday I went out to the shed to get some spray paint and I almost fell over noticing all the stuff in there that needs to get moved to the garage for the sale. We have three long tables set up and are trying to get three more tables!

We are definitely having the sale this coming weekend (6/12-6/13). We decided to have it on Friday also since Dennis did not have any work scheduled for that day.

So wish us luck. I really hope that we can get rid of most of these things. You know what they say: One mans trash is another mans treasure! Hopefully people see lots of treasures among our stuff!

  1. Hope it was a hugh success! Lots of Money too! Garage sales are lots of work. The secret is to stop buying stuff. I have started to do that. The next secret is when you buy something, you have to get rid of something. Well, that is not so easy for me since I am a pack rat. So it is easier to just not buy things!!! Aunt Jo-Ann

  2. Great ideas---I have tried to not buy anything for the house unless I know exactly where I can put it in the house!
